This popular lucid dreaming induction technique, also known as the Cycling Technique, is easy to learn and highly effective.
Senses Initiated Lucid Dreaming, (SSILD), involves a process of creating a cycle which consists of exploring each of your primary senses of sight, hearing, and touch. It works by making your mind focus on your surroundings so that when you enter sleep again you are more likely to have a lucid dream. Doing it at a time when REM sleep is at its highest means there is a greater chance of success. Luigi Sciambarella, an experienced lucid dreamer and teacher of lucid dreaming techniques, guides you through this cycling process. Track 1 is the primer, to do before you sleep. Track 2 is to be used after you have slept about five hours, practising the technique at different speeds, and then falling back into sleep.
